Eco-preneurs in the US

It’s always interesting to hear what’s happening within the entrepreneurial community across the pond and an article published today has revealed the growing eco-preneurial movement within the travel and hospitality sectors.

The UK has, of course, got its own fine breed of eco-preneurs in these industries: Peter Kindersley, Justin Francis and Keith Johnston are just three that spring to mind.

And today, the Financial Times has a nice piece on a couple of green-focused business people who are gaining the edge on their traditional competitors who haven’t always been environmentally minded.

One of the quoted entrepreneurs, Sustainable Travel International president Brian Mullins, notes: “Smaller companies are . . . better able to find a niche and be more responsive to customer feedback."
