Does McEducation make good business sense?

Employees at McDonalds are being offered the chance to receive a business education of A-level standard from the fast-food giant.
The so-called McQualification will train students in-house for a certificate in basic shift management. Network Rail and Flybe are some of the other UK businesses offering this kind of business education. The hope is that providing business education for employees of large corporates, the current gaps in the UK workforce may diminish. But is this sort of education a good idea for UK business?
