Weekly staff briefings at Juliet Price's firm Park City never drag on all
morning.
So what's the secret of avoiding waffle?
“I make people stand up to speak," says Price, founder of the
Colchester-based HR consultancy. "It’s embarrassing to get up and have
everyone staring at you while you make your point.
"People won’t want to draw attention to themselves unless what they’ve got
to say is valid and focused on the issue at hand.
“Make your staff stand up and they won’t want to waffle.”
Eureka!
