Richard Branson is Britain’s top entrepreneur

It seems Blighty can’t get enough of Richard Branson. Just a month after Real Business sang his praises in our September issue, calling him “the poster boy for entrepreneurship in Britain”, Richard Branson has been voted Britain’s most popular business guru.

In a survey conducted by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Richard Branson beat Dragons' Den star Peter Jones and The Apprentice boss Sir Alan Sugar to the post, scooping 45 per cent of the vote.

And the kudos don’t stop there: in a recent survey by The Entrepreneurs Board, more than 2,000 people voted the Virgin tycoon the UK’s favourite entrepreneur.

Richard Branson is a true entrepreneurial champion. He’s created Virgin Unite, the non-profit foundation that, among other things, looks for entrepreneurial solutions to improve communities and offer support to businesses wanting to become a “force for good”.

Any wonder he’s a national favourite?
