New business support network for UK entrepreneurs and start-up businesses

by Catherine Woods - Monday, 10th March 2008 - (1) comment

New business support network for UK entrepreneurs and start-up businesses

Entrepreneur Fraser Hay, founder of The Results Academy, says British start-up businesses must master online social networking to ensure success.

Hay believes the growth of this sort of networking has yet to reach its peak. “I think there’s still a very, very small percentage of entrepreneurs who are leveraging online marketing and online social networking to its advantage,” he says.

The Results Academy is a business support network for entrepreneurs. It aims to help people who are thinking about starting a business, entrepreneurs in the start-up phase as well as those who are at the helm of high-growth businesses. It has members in more than 50 countries.

Hay says making a success of online social networking is very simple. “I make it work by finding out how I can help other people. That’s the single most important point.

“A lot of people fail because they don’t go out to see how they can help others – they concentrate on themselves.

“In terms of online social networking, you need to identify prospects’ pains, needs and frustrations."

Hay has developed a three minute marketing model that can be downloaded for free from The Results Academy’s website.
