Entrepreneur’s passport to Planet Rock
by Carryn Dewing - Thursday, 5th June 2008 -
Malcolm Bluemel, visa entrepreneur and avid rock fanatic, has closed the deal on his purchase of rock digital radio station Planet Rock.
Bluemel, who made his millions as founder of TLCS Global Visa Services, bought the classical rock station after it was put up for sale by GCap four months ago.
Bluemel, having trounced the likes of Queen guitarist Brian May to buy the station, says “I share the station's passion for rock and radio. Now we aim to take it to the next level.”
The staff at Planet Rock are said to be thrilled at Bluemel’s successful purchase of the station, and believe he has what it takes to ensure the digital radio station rocks on.
