Gill Thomas’s musical playgroup concept Jo Jingles is one of the most successful franchise operations. “We now have more than 100 franchisees,” says Thomas. “The nature of the work is ideal for working mothers. They only work part-time and during term times. For many families, it’s a useful secondary source of income.”
