Jane Asher, founder of the eponymous cake decorating business, gives her tips on surviving a downturn. And all in that lovely breathy voice of hers...
I'm going to be straight up with you about one thing before you hit "play", readers. This video is a hopeless plug for the FSB. Nevertheless, these tips are pretty good. And there's cake. Lots of cake. We like cake.
Enjoy!

We interviewed Jane for my website and although many people may ignore her advice given that she's a celebrity, I think entrepreneurs should take note of what she has to say. Her tip about using different banks is particularly interesting. A simple thing to do but something very few small business owners think about. Dan Martin, editor, BusinessZone.co.uk

These are great tips from a woman who has mastered so much. She is a gifted actress indeed, but the food skills and her economic insights are helpful. Thanks so much for posting.
