What’s our Raef up to, then?

Well, well, well… look who’s got themselves a job with Richard and Judy.

The Sunday Mirror has gleefully announced that Apprentice star and self-claimed entrepreneur Raef Bjayou has signed on as a presenter for Richard and Judy’s new show.

We were as heartbroken as anyone when Sir Alan dumped Raef, ultimately in favour of Lee McQeen, but it’s good to hear our new favourite toff isn’t going to disappear into the wilderness.

From the very beginning it was clear the boy had a bright future ahead of him in the media.

I'm not that concerend that he was fired, Sir Alan often drops good candidates because they might not fit into the organization, not necessarily because he didn't like them, I was hoping he'd get to the interview stage but knew he wasn't gonna be hired. and judging from people here, he doesn't need the money and he probably went on there to increase his media career. If that's what he wanted, he's been very successful at it, nothing that being fired will change. I thought he'd be the kind of guy to market new innoations to tycoons to pitch new products, like a Donald Trump kinda guy. I think he's degrading himself having "just another chat show" or presenting with Richard and Judy I thought he was better than that.But that's what you gotta do to break the media nowadays, take anything.

Raef has also blagged a regular spot on Gethin Jones' new Saturday morning show on BBC Five Live. He's the show's resident 'eccentric Britain' expert!
