Hazlitt to leave GCap
by Catherine Woods - Thursday, 22nd May 2008 - - Business comment
Fru Hazlitt, one of the most entertaining speakers at our recent Women of the Future Economic Empowerment Summit, is to leave radio group GCap.
It follows Global Radio’s acquisition of GCap, which was agreed upon the day before the summit and which is expected to be completed on 6 June 2008.
There had been much speculation before the deal that Hazlitt, the CEO, would probably part ways with the combined group.
GCap chairman Richard Eyre (who is also leaving) has paid tribute to Hazlitt, saying her leadership “in the most testing of circumstances has been exceptional. She has exceeded the high expectations of the board.”
We wait to see what Fru does next.
